Seeking the Scenic Route was founded by Garrett Kline and Morgan Timm, two born-and-raised midwesterners living in the Quad Cities with a love for the outdoors, travel, and road-tripping.
About Morgan Timm
I’m not new to the blogging world – I started my first blog, Mostly Morgan, as a college freshman back in 2014. Since then, my world has revolved around sharing my writing online.
I spent three years working full-time for a NYC based tech company before taking the plunge and beginning to write as my own boss full-time in May 2019.
A few of my favorite things are hiking, collecting plants, going on drives, Barnes & Noble runs, reading, writing, and crafting. More than any other dream of mine, my #1 goal is to become a published author. I’m currently working on my first book – a young adult thriller.

I plan on seeing the world, but at the top of my list there are a few stand-outs:

About Garrett Kline
I am a born-and-raised, 24 year old Illinoisan who, unlike Morgan, is new to the blogging world but am always ready for a new adventure. I currently work full-time at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, as an Instructional Designer assisting in the development of courses. I am also a doctoral student at the University of Illinois studying Education Policy, Organization & Leadership.
Some hobbies of mine include traveling, hiking, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. Once I complete my doctorate degree, I would like to teach instructional design or education policy at the college level.
